An evening of jewellery and bouquet making with Lily Gabriella

London jewellery Last night I was thrilled to attend the Lily Gabriella Spring event at the Flower Appreciation Society. I've been such a fan of Lily Gabriella jewellery since trying on one of her gorgeous Spira rings at Harvey Nichols. The designs are so unique and an absolute must if you're looking for a statement piece of fine jewellery.

I love the story behind this brand. Lily Gabriella Elia was born in Rio de Janeiro and is currently based in Monaco and London. It's clear that exposure to beautiful art and jewellery at a young age has inspired her aesthetic. It was acclaimed jewellery designer JAR, (Joel Arthur Rosenthal) who encouraged Elia to pursue her passion for creating fine jewellery. I first heard about JAR when I read about his jewellery atelier in Place Vendome Paris. The store has no display window or set hours. He opens his doors only to a select including the late Elizabeth Taylor. It's wonderful that he is taking the next generation of fine jewellery designers under his care.

The craftsmanship behind each Lily Gabriella piece is clear. They are all handcrafted by a small family run atelier in Milan under Elia's direction. My absolute favourite piece is still the Spira ring with rubies. It's just stunning and really comfortable to wear.

As well as trying on some amazing pieces we also made gorgeous hand tied bouquets with the lovely ladies from The Flower Appreciation Society. I was lucky enough to attend their floral crown workshop earlier this year so was really excited to return for some more floristry!

I received a gorgeous Lily Gabriella candle. The lily and white rose scent is divine and the candle is very stylish!
