It's the time of the year when we are all trying to catch up with friends for a festive meal or drink. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting my lovely friend Miranda of Miranda's Notebook at No 11 Pimlico Road. At this time of the year, we tend to spend so much time indoors I definitely look for a venue with an inspiring interior. No 11 Pimlico Road provides that perfectly. The interior is gorgeous with sumptuous velvet seating, marble top tables and classic black and white floor tiles. The bar has such a homely feel and the staff are very welcoming.
The current Winter Menu features seasonal produce and is just perfect to enjoy with friends as a festive catch up. We chose the Norfolk Turkey with traditional trimmings and cranberry sauce. The meal was absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts are the best I have ever tried.
For dessert, we chose No 11 Christmas Eton Mess with Winter Berries & Treacle Meringue. Such a lovely Winter version of Eton Mess and a great end to our festive meal. The dessert was quite large. I'd recommend ordering two (or more) different desserts for the table and then sharing them so you can try a few different things. The Sticky Toffee Date Pudding with Brandy Butter Cream & Hot Butterscotch Sauce looks delicious.
Such a great bar and the service was fantastic. I also think it would be an ideal place to catch up for a drink before a wander around Belgravia and Chelsea to see the gorgeous Christmas decorations. Overall we really had a lovely time and I will definitely be returning to try more items from the Winter menu soon!
